Full of energy...

James Full of life and energy! What toddler isn't. How to keep happy? A ball and bubbles work just fine! A beautiful day the air was warm and the wind blew softly. James, never forget the joys of your childhood.

Happy Birthday Ariana! With gearing up for a baby's first birthday I traveled a road in photography that I have not gone before. Set up of a photo-shoot indoors with lighting I didn't have. I was pleased with the outcome; even with my "ghetto-rigged" set up. She is a delightful subject to photograph, not cranky but full of joy. Hope you enjoyed your birthday cake Ariana!
Paula and I have been trying to return to Harkness Park since Joshua's graduation party. We tried the Sunday after while John, her brother, was here but we were cut short because of a downpour. We tried yet again to go back one evening however, the guard tried charging us at 4:30pm... so yet to return this month, we showed up at 6:30pm when the park was not charging and got a few shots in. Sunset was at 7:30pm but there weren't beautiful enough shots of it to show. We did find an interesting explosion of red feathers on our way out. Yes, I tend to photograph random items. What do you think?

Bridget sent me an email one day asking if I would mind photographing her one afternoon... Silly question Bridget; I would love to photograph you. Besides the love of photography, its a great blessing to photograph a beautiful subject. Take notice of her eyes, deep crystal blue that go on forever. Bridget you are a beautiful person inside and out. Don't ever let anyone take advantage of that!

Summer days with Ignite Youth Ministries
One Thursday evening we packed up the kids and headed off to Eastern Point Beach - the kids were allowed to enjoy the beach and grassy area for football. Overall I believe it was a successful evening. Goes to show you that we can relax and have a wonderful time.

Beginning in 1975, The Button Family built a dairy set-up using timber grown on the land, and an old sawmill to mill the lumber. Since that time, the farm has been used to produce feed for cattle and milk for the wholesale market as well as merchandising cattle. Now they also sell amazing ice cream and you can view beautiful sunflowers. Check out the link...

Kadance photographs (Mommy and Daddy too)

I have had the joy to photograph Tara & Greg and Kadance. The love that they show for her now is a great demonstration of what is yet to come. I am excited for the day she makes her appearance and her life to unfold, such destiny!

New experiences: Ahepa

Day one of handing out applications was extremely busy and there was five of us...
Day two: not so busy, so not busy that I was taking pictures of pencils.

Even though the time was slow we did enjoy talking with each other. I am excited to see the new building come to completion and what it takes to get it to that point.

Dragonflies and butterflies...

Just dragonflies and flowers....
For the 4th of July Terry and Doug invited our family over for dinner. They gave us a tour of their backyard a peaceful place. I was in photographer's heaven and photographed a few items that stuck out to me.
the sign that welcomes every one says it all. You do feel very welcomed in their home.
