Florence Griswold Museum

There is such depth found in the Florence Griswold House - by using your imagination the house and grounds can take you back to a time where artist came from all around to sit and be inspired by God's creation.
For Christmas a resident gave me two tickets to visit the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme CT. I just got around to using them this past weekend. My sister and I took off Saturday afternoon and visited this beautiful landscaped Museum. It made me want to start painting my own things. Who knows, it might have just sparked an interest in painting. You should check it out, a beautiful place to visit. http://www.flogris.org/visiting/visiting.html

You will be missed..

I have been at AHEPA for a little over two years now and have a few residents that just seem to make my day. The Taylor's are ones to make my day. However, they decided to move back home it Indiana to be with children and left this week. Before they left they brought me a bunch of flowers. I will really miss them.

Celebrating 40 years!

My Mother and Father celebrated 40 years together this May 16th. I am privileged to have parents who have remained together over the years. I know they attribute this to their relationship with God.

Spring Rain Storms

Let the rain kiss you.

Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.

Let the rain sing you a lullaby. - Langston Hughes
