We planned months in advance to go to NYC - a bunch of us. But due to schedules and finances we were unable to go. So the few of us that were left thought we'd go to Boston ... but once again finances and lack of transportation reared it's ugly head. So we made a day of it in our own city New London. Jocelyn had a wonderful idea... we were going to photograph her in one of her elements; paint! What do you think? Does this portrait Jocelyn? I had a great time with this shoot!

June 10th - Stormy night
Block Island - June 2011
John came to visit us and took Paula and I to hang out on Block Island. It was an adventure I will never forget. We were able to take the highspeed ferry over and enjoy a beautiful summer day. When we arrived I was talked into taking a trip around the island on mopeds; at first I was skeptical. Paula told me that I needed to live a little... well that did it. John blessed us by rental all three mopeds! We spent the next 3-4 hours riding around the island, it was beautiful. I will have to make it a point to go back sometime soon.
Bat Mitzvah - May 2011
My dear friend and amazing photographer, Tiffany Lively asked if I would assist her on photographing a Bat Mitzvah. There was such deep tradition in the ceremony and I was amazed at the knowledge of the children. She was 13 and spoke as if she was 30. Speaking in the Jewish language and reciting from the Torrah; it was beautiful.
Roger Williams Zoo May 2011
Josh and I decided that we were going to take a vacation day and go to the Roger Williams Zoo in Rhode Island. I love to go to the zoo; the animals are such an awesome site and to know that God created each and everyone of them shows how creative He is.
